Den Vlier Private Game Reserve is situated 17 km from Ladismith, in the heart of the Klein Karoo, just of SA's well known R62. At the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains it is well situated to use as base to visit famous tourist attractions such as the Seweweekspoort, Swartberg Pass and 'The Hell', Kango Caves, Ronnies Sex Shop and other attractions in and around the Little Karoo
In the reserve the vistas and sheer sence of space are magnifisent and there is a wide and diverse range of activities on offer such as hiking, mountain biking, quadbiking, 4x4 route, canoeing, swimming, bird watching and game viewing.
The reserve is in the succulent Karoo plant biome and is thus Malaria and Bilharzia free.
